dear friends,
so i just want to thank all those who prayed with great faith and hoped that i would get a job. i did. i'll start work for the LDS Church's Audio/Visual Department in August as a broadcast audio engineer.
lemme tell you what that entails:
AUDIO SUPPORT FOR:
- general conference
- temple dedications
- concerts & musicals at temple square
- pageants
- stake conferences and worldwide leadership training broadcasts
- random quorum and auxiliary events (dinners, meetings etc.)
- post-production video events for broadcast
- music and the spoken word
- really any event that needs audio that the church does, i'll probably be involved in it
its so weird driving passed the conference center and thinking "i work there."

Congrats. That sounds like an amazing job. I'm sure you'll love it. I guess that means you and Laura will be living in Utah for awhile. Sad for me :-(.
Happy for us! Yay for being in Utah! Which apparently you have been here for the last little while and I keep forgetting. If you are in Provo give us a call, we just are workin' folks these days.
